Application Process

1)  Interested independent models should view our Shoot for the Sun Applicant Brochure. (Best viewed at 100% scale size)
    

2)  Applicants submit thier photos, video and basic stats to Shoot for the Sun™ for consideration (please refer to #8 in the
     Model Audition Guidelines section to ensure you have submitted all of the required content). Please submit application
     content to the Casting Director (discover@shootforthesun.com).

3) Short listed applicants will be notified via the email they provided SFTS and shall compete for a finalist position.

4)  After the online casting process has concluded and the live pageant events have been completed the 12 finalists are officially announced and      posted to the Shoot for the Sun™ website.


Model Audition Guidlines

1)  Please ensure you are applying within the country we are currently casting from.

2)  Please ensure you are over the age of majority in the region we are shooting

3)  For safety, travel and legal reasons casting cannot accept any submissions from individuals whom are pregnant or charged for a criminal      offence which they have not been pardoned for.

4)  Casting cannot accept any applications from models which are currently signed with a conflicting agency.

5)  Casting cannot accept any applications from individuals whom have been recognized as activists for target groups which oppose any North      American business, individual orientation or political affiliation.

6)  All applicants should be able to travel by any means and hold a valid passport.

7)  Casting will hold the right to refuse an application from any individual which is currently or has been affiliated with any individual or business      on our black list.

8)  All applications MUST include the following items:
     - Professional head shot
     - Professional body shots (min 2 in a swimsuit or like outfit)
     - A short home video submission explaining why you wish to be involved with Shoot for the Sun™, how your involvment will help SFTS grow,        and your future ambitions in your professional career. The video MUST also conclude with you in front of the camera in a bikini with a full body        shot head to two, and rotating around once in a full 360 degree rotation. This way casting can determin how you look like head to toe and front        to back without any photo editing. The video doesn't have to be professionally done, it may be taken on a web cam or even your phone.
     - Basic stats (Full name, city of residence, age, height, weight, measurements, tattoos + body piercings, email, best to reach phone number)

9)  You MUST also provide written acknowledgement either within your email or in a seperte type document that you are the sole owner of all of      the content you submit to casting and that you grant Shoot for the Sun™ permission to display any of your submitted content on the Shoot for      the Sun™ website.

10) It is not mandatory but definitely recommended to also supply the following items:
     - Link to online portfolio
     - Media coverage

11) All first time applicants that submit the mandetory above mentioned criteria will be reviewed during casting dates.

12) If you have applied in the past or competed in one of our SFTS pageants but were never selected as a finalist you may apply again and you       shall be treated as a first time applicant.

14) Any individual romantically or otherwise involved with any of the SFTS staffers shall not be considered.

15) Any attempt to bribe any member of the SFTS team in any manner shall not be considered.

16) Casting will not accept blatantly nude photos with your application. Implied nudity is permitted.

17) ALL submissions should be sent via email addressed to the Casting Director (discover@shootforthesun.com) , with the Subject Line as:

Model Audition Tips

1) When submitting your head shot consider submitting some options. Showcasing a variety always goes a long way, consider submitting one
     smile photo and one neutral or best 'model pouty' look for your headshot.

2) When submitting your body shots please remember that you are applying for a glamor agency. Casting cannot determine your fit for the
     team if you're wearing baggy clothing. Consider submitting photos from the following categories: Swimwear, Lingerie, Implied.

3) Do not send in photos where there are several people in the picture, casting does not like playing Where's Waldo to find you. Just send in a      picture with the most important element in it, you, looking your best!

4) Casting receives a monumental amount of applications every year to join our team, and has to ration time in reviewing each applicant in order to      review all the applications in time. So make sure what you send into casting is the very best you have to offer! You have one quick chance,
     make it count!

5)  The photos will tell casting a lot of how you interact with the camera, but the video will make or break the deal when it comes to your      intentions; therefore the video is equally as important! Take some time to record a thoughtful paragraph as to why you feel you should be      considered to be a part of the team. Remember SFTS's mission is to provide an extraordinary opportunity for independent women whom  are      seeking an chance to chase their dreams, to shoot with the best, to prove that they have the inner drive to overcome odds. SFTS wants      go- getters, dreamers, girls that maintain a conscious effort to ensure they are representing themselves to the best of their ability in body and      mind and making a constant  difference for other women around them. How do you fit in to all that? The video doesn't have to be long,      however it should be thoughtful.

6)  When submitting your photos and video stick to the very best of you! But adding a link to an online portfolio is always a good idea as it enables      casting to research more of you if they choose. Always allow for an opportunity for someone to explore more about you if they are interested!      Plus, online portfolios showcase an individuals commitment to themselves to make the very best effort in promoting themselves in the      industry; remember SFTS wants go-getters.

7)  Go back to step 8) in the Submission Guidelines section and make sure you have submitted ALL of the mandatory elements.

8)  Most importantly don’t be too serious in character with your submission! Yes SFTS wants professional girls however we also like individual fun      personalities, so let it shine through the camera lense!

     Wish for the best outcome, but expect the worst, and you shall never be disappointed in life!
